In this session, we explore the different types of ecosystems that we find along our coasts in the intertidal zone. We examine how tides work and how they impact the ecosystems found on our coastlines. We take a look at different intertidal zone ecosystems and what lives in them, and end with discussing how humans impact the intertidal zone.
Suitable for children ages 4 and up, but specifically geared towards ages 4-10. We have created this content with the intention of interaction, and encourage adults and children to learn and participate together.
