In this session we dive into what it takes to make coral reefs the colorful, thriving ecosystems that they are. We examine how coral polyps eat and grow, and take a look at how coral colonies defend themselves to survive. We end with what stresses out corals, and what humans are doing to add to these stressors.
Suitable for children ages 4 and up, but specifically geared towards ages 4-10. We have created this content with the intention of interaction, and encourage adults and children to learn and participate together.
